Every month we partner with dozens of churches to feed children physically, emotionally, & spiritually through our innovative food parcel program called “BEYOND THE BOX”

What started as an emergency aid response to the Beirut blast of August 2020, has developed into a full fledged program used by dozens of churches to serve the physical and spiritual needs of 100’s of at risk children. Everything from the contents of the box to the actual box itself is designed to serve the unique needs of children.

Every box itself is designed to break down into games and visual story telling aids. As you can see… it is way beyond the box.

  • In 2020, the city of Beirut experienced the largest man-made explosion since the age of nuclear bomb testing. This left a city already struggling with an economic collapse in shambles.

Even with our offices destroyed in the blast, we had one question:

“How can we help the local church community of Beirut effectively serve their neighbors as we rebuild ourselves?”

  • With aid pouring into the city via various agencies, small local churches that lacked disposable finances and connections found it difficult to serve the practical needs of their immediate neighbors.

But what they lacked in finances they more than made up for in hands raised to volunteer to serve.

    Opportunities Identified:

    • Opportunity to creatively distinguish the aid given by the local church from the aid being distributed by foreign-based organizations by developing aid packages designed specifically for children.

    • Opportunity to expand the ministry of the local church by enhancing their volunteers' ability to connect long-term with local families they would normally have no ability to connect with.

As we approach the 2000th anniversary of “the Great Commission” in 2033, we believe that God is setting the stage for a Christian renaissance in the Middle East.

In light of this, we have set ambitious goals for our BEYOND THE BOX project.
